Two Epic Dalek Battles
Enter the universe of Doctor Who, the hit BBC television program. Named for its time-traveling hero, the Doctor continually battles his greatest enemies, the Daleks. In “Remembrance of the Daleks,” the Doctor returns to Coal Hill School in 1963, since he left a powerful Time Lord artifact there. Two rival Dalek factions seek it out, therefore the Doctor must retrieve it. He also must prevent London from becoming a war zone as the Daleks meet in explosive confrontation.
“Prisoner of the Daleks” finds the Daleks advancing, with their empire constantly expanding. Battles rage across countless solar systems. The Doctor consequently becomes stranded near the frontline, joining ruthless bounty hunters on a starship. Earth command pays these hunters for every Dalek kill, demanding eye stalks as proof. With the Doctor’s help, they capture a Dalek prisoner, intact, powerless, and ready for interrogation. However, with the Daleks, nothing is what it seems, and no one is safe. Tables will soon turn, and the Doctor must figure out how to survive becoming a prisoner himself.
