Vintage Log Cabin Syrup Bicentennial Glass Flask

Note: We are selling this 50-year-old Log Cabin Country Kitchen Syrup Bicentennial Flask strictly as a collectible piece for display purposes only; please do not consume (see Consumption Warning below).

This original 24 fl. oz. Log Cabin Country Kitchen Syrup Bicentennial Flask from 1976 celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Log Cabin created this special Bicentennial Flask to honor American history during that landmark year. The brown glass features an embossed border of connected stars around the front and some on the back. At the top of the front design, the year 1776 appears clearly in the glass. The back of the flask displays an embossed illustration of the Liberty Bell. Above the Liberty Bell appears “1776–1976.” Additionally, the bottom of the bottle has the words “Log Cabin Syrup” embossed in the glass. This offers a fantastic opportunity to own a piece of American history at an affordable price.

Intact Labels and Details

The front of the flask holds a colorful printed paper label that remains in fair condition, partially torn off and missing along its right edge (see photo). It uses a brown background with bold yellow and orange lettering for the product name: “Log Cabin Country Kitchen Pancake & Waffle Syrup.” The top section of the label is blue with white text marking it as a special flask. You can also find a small General Foods Corporation logo at the very bottom. While the label shows some light wear from age and the surface tear, it stays firmly attached to the glass. There is no label on the backside, which allows the embossed Liberty Bell design to stand out. Most collectors consider this item to be new old stock (NOS) because it remains in its original state. These flasks often sell on eBay for much higher prices when you include shipping costs.

Excellent Vintage Condition

This Log Cabin Country Kitchen Syrup Bicentennial Flask bottle measures about 8.25″ tall and 4.5″ wide, making it a great size for display. Despite being about 50 years old, the glass has no scratches, cracks, or major marks. The metal screw-top lid remains tightly sealed on the bottle just as it was decades ago. This flask still contains the original syrup from 1976 inside the dark brown glass. You will notice that the overall structure of the bottle feels very sturdy and heavy. It has survived the years in fantastic condition for a collectible from the mid-1970s. This piece serves as a perfect addition to any collection of vintage advertising or holiday memorabilia.

Consumption Warning

We are selling this item strictly as a collectible piece for display purposes only. Please do not eat the syrup inside the bottle. The mixture is about 50 years old, and you can become ill if you eat food that has aged this long. Also, we recommend keeping the seal intact to preserve the historical value of the flask as a vintage decoration.
