The Story of Street Hawk

Injured motorcycle cop Jesse Mach becomes the central figure. He receives a unique opportunity. The government selects him to test ride a top-secret vehicle. This ultra-fast attack motorcycle, ‘Street Hawk’, becomes his new partner. Norman Tuttle, the motorcycle’s creator, joins him. They work together to combat crime across Los Angeles. Their initial assignment holds personal significance for Jesse. They must take down drug smuggler Anthony Corrido. Corrido is responsible for Jesse’s injury. He also killed Jesse’s partner.

The Television Series Origins

Street Hawk aired for 14 episodes on ABC in 1985. The series originated as a Limekiln and Templar Production. It was made in association with Universal Television. Paul M. Belous and Robert Wolterstorff created the central characters. Bruce Lansbury developed its core format. He also initially commissioned the program’s creation.

High-tech Crime Fighting

The concept of ‘Street Hawk’ involves advanced technology. The motorcycle itself represents a key element. Its ultra-fast speed and attack capabilities are central to the crime-fighting efforts. This appeals to fans of 1980s action shows. The partnership between Jesse and Norman combines street smarts with technical genius.
