• Condition: Pre-loved fair. Solid spines, clean pages. Tearing/cracking along spines of both volumes, and each spine covering is ready to fall off. Mild splotching and edge/corner wear on covers. Two 0.5 to 1″ pieces of cover missing from spine of Vol. II. Slight warping of pages. Spine webbing visible between some pages. Inscription on inside-front cover of each volume. Remarkably light age browning on pages for books that are 115 years old. Inside covers and some pages do have darker browning.
