Vintage Character and Collectible Value

Furthermore, this antique book displays honest physical character from decades of enjoyment. Bleached discoloration appears along the cover edges, yet the boards remain flat. Mild foxing and splotches show on the outer edges and interior leaves. Additionally, some interior illustrations contain neat crayon coloring from a previous owner. Nevertheless, the binding remains completely solid and intact. Therefore, this budget-friendly volume offers incredible value for collectors and lovers of classic literature.

Charming Christmas Inscription

A mother or daughter penciled the following inscription on one of the inside leaves: “From Mama | To Dorothy on Christams [sic] Eve | 1930.” So almost 96 years ago, this book probably made a Pinocchio-loving little girl very happy.
