Victory at Sea: Vintage WWII Documentary Set
This set of six vintage VHS tapes presents Victory at Sea, the acclaimed WWII documentary series, which originally sold for $149.70. This collection offers a visual panorama of American and Allied naval operations during World War II. The series originally aired on NBC in 1952–53, captivating audiences across five continents. Consequently, it won 12 major awards, including Emmy, Sylvania, and Peabody awards, establishing itself as a significant compilation documentary. Furthermore, Richard Rodgers composed the stirring original musical score, and Leonard Graves provides incomparable narration. This pre-owned VHS set comes in a slipcase. Although we haven’t tested the tapes, they appear to be in excellent condition. Even so, the quality of vintage tapes can degrade.

Victory at Sea is a comprehensive documentary television series. It covers general warfare during World War II, with a focus on naval warfare. It also explores the role of industry in wartime. The series uses live-action footage. This footage came from the film archives of both Allied and Axis governments. It offers an authentic look at the conflict. Vintage Condition Notes
These are pre-owned VHS cassette tapes. Although the tapes appear to be in excellent physical condition, we haven’t tested them for playability. We have no reason to believe they don’t play. However, the quality of vintage tapes this old could degrade over time. Therefore, we’re selling the set as is. Furthermore, the tapes, which come housed in a slipcase, are not sealed. The previous owner opened and played each tape.
