This Tantalus liquor cabinet with lock and key is not guaranteed to be an antique, but it’s possibly from the late 19th or early 20th century. Its working key opens two front doors to access a sliding glass or crystal tray that would support 4 decanters and 16 small glasses, not included here.
The cabinet, which weighs around 30 to 40 pounds, might be made of brass (or some brass alloy) and crystal (or possibly thick glass). The bottom surface appears to be a mirror, and there are no manufacturing stamps or other identification marks.
