Help Neighbors in Need

Kids volunteer by serving meals in Father Joe’s Villages kitchen.

As a volunteer for Father Joe’s Villages, your service will have a direct impact on the lives of your neighbors in need. After all, Father Joe’s Villages has helped more than 11,000 individuals achieve permanent housing in the last ten years alone. Additionally, Father Joe’s Villages offers a variety of services that are essential to end the cycle of homelessness, including housing, meals, therapeutic childcare services for families, medical care, dental care, and behavioral health care, employment education and more.

“These are neighbors, not strangers,” President Emeritus, Father Joe Carroll once said. “They are somebody’s son, daughter. They’re just in trouble but there’s a way to help.”

Become Part of the Solution

By donating your time, you too can become a part of the solution to end homelessness, one life at a time. Plus, volunteering is mutually beneficial to both the individuals we serve and yourself.

While you are volunteering at Father Joe’s Villages, you will gain new skills, meet interesting people, hear unique stories, give back to the community, and make a difference.

After volunteering, you may find that your life has also been changed for the better.

Many Ways to Give Back

At Father Joe’s Villages, there are numerous volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can utilize their talents in a variety of programs including preparing and serving meals, tutoring kids, doing maintenance/beautification projects, attending events and much more.

For example, volunteers can be mentors for children within our Therapeutic Childcare program. Volunteering your time can be as simple as bringing a smile to a child’s face.

Additionally, we need help serving the 1,100,000 hot nutritious meals we serve every year. Over 70 volunteers per day help us provide breakfast, lunch and dinner to our neighbors in need.

Take a tour of Father Joe’s Villages and see the numerous services we offer, and join where you are most passionate.

Volunteers are an integral part of what we do at Father Joe’s Villages. We wouldn’t be able to transform the lives of thousands of people every year without your help.
