Diane Stumph’s non-profit experience began in September 2006 when she accepted the position of CFO for Father Joe’s Villages. She made a change from a career in education to accounting and business when she received her Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.
For the following 11 years she worked for Exxon Company, USA, earning her CPA certification and holding a variety of positions including Internal Auditor, Accounting Supervisor, Capital Budget Coordinator and Financial Analyst.
After a move to San Diego, Diane joined AMN Healthcare, Inc. as the Controller, eventually moving into Sr. VP and CFO positions. During the 13 years with AMN Diane managed the accounting, payroll and finance staffs through internal growth, acquisitions and transitions from sole proprietor.
That experience gained at AMN has been very useful at Father Joe’s Villages. Diane has brought a high degree of professionalism to the finance team as she has developed a strong team that consistently maintains essential controls to produce the timely and accurate reporting and analysis necessary to provide financial information for a dynamic organization performing vital services for the San Diego community. From January 2014 until Deacon Jim was hired in February 2015, Diane also served as the organization’s interim president and CEO.
Diane is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the San Diego CFO Roundtable.
