Ways to Give

Bequests

Remembering one of Father Joe’s Villages in your will or living trust is a personal way to extend the influence of your life. Including the Villages in your will or living trust may bring signiﬁcant estate tax savings. Your gift may be in the form of cash, securities, or property. A codicil or amendment to an existing will or living trust can be used to make simple changes such as naming an additional beneﬁciary. Informing Father Joe’s Villages of your will or living trust provisions allows us to thank you now for your contribution and to facilitate our financial plans.

Charitable Gift Annuity

A charitable gift annuity is a transfer of your financial assets or real estate to a non-profit organization, such as Father Joe’s Villages, that pays you a fixed income for the rest of your life. Upon your death, the remaining principle is paid to the organization.

Charitable Remainder Trust

A charitable remainder trust is a significant irrevocable gift of cash or property. You receive an immediate charitable deduction and a lifetime of income for yourself or for your beneficiaries with the principal eventually transferring to Father Joe’s Villages. Charitable remainder trusts are especially suited to those holding low-yielding appreciated property, to those approaching retirement, or those who would like to make substantial gifts, but must retain the income from the gift assets. We can assist you in establishing a trust.
